Director Corporate Development - Telco

We are delighted to be partnering with Global Telco business who have created a new Director of Corporate Development position as they look to double their revenues over the next few years. This is a leadership level role which sits within the Strategy team and will be responsible for driving the agenda on value creation through new market opportunities, new business models, M&A, strategic partnerships etc partnering with Executive stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Identifying strategic growth opportunities internally, the TMT sector and wider markets
• Evaluation of opportunities which maximise value creation whilst mitigating downside risks
• Building scenarios for future market structure evolution
• Engaging with analysts, potential partners, targets, investors media and key influencers with regards to emerging opportunities
• Building a best in class Corporate Development function
• Partnering and engaging with the Leadership team

Requirements

You are currently operating in a Director level Corporate Development role within a large TMT business.

• Significant Corporate Development leadership experience in a tier 1 Global TMT business evidencing strong value creation
• Preference for TMT IB experience
• Strong track record of M&A initiatives to closure
