ROLE SUMMARY The Market Strategy role, Connected Markets & SFI will define the execution strategy for cross asset and Sustainable Finance customers. The role will work extensively with Product, Sales, Data, Analytics and Enterprise teams to achieve a joined-up client experience from inception to execution, driving customer and market engagement. They will also steer product design to align with the evolution of the business as a capability suite, co-ordinating closely with product, data science and research.
The role requires leadership, communication, critical thinking, team building, operational and risk management, data quality control, integrity, and analytical skills. A successful candidate will have experience in engaging with senior executives, both inside the organisation and at customers and industry bodies. The individual should possess strong critical thinking skills, work across various teams and can analyse sophisticated data sets.
This individual will be a natural connector, able to encourage others and have outstanding partner management skills. They will be able to join the dots where there is complexity and create clarity for our business through a simple modern joined-up approach. They will have experince of working at pace, handling conflicting priorities and a proven track record for continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Driving client engagement with a solutions-based product development approach, evolving client engagement from legacy ‘product-specific’ goals to a solutions paradigm. Developing a quarterly, annual and multi-year relationship strategy which will include market positioning and growth targets. Developing and driving go-to-market strategies with Sales, Data and Product management and enabling customer-facing teams (learning strategy, marketing materials). Validating and informing the commercial product roadmap - proposes, guides and reviews the overall Business Case for investment strategy – including M&A.
Leading demand and resource planning, having a clear view of capacity and skills within the team, making sure we’re always prioritising activities that will make the biggest performance difference to the company. This will at times include team flexing to other business critical work in different squads.
