Salary - £33,000 – £40,000 + company car

We are looking for a Regional Driver Trainer to cover the Central region. The region consists of a base site and several sister sites, where you’ll be responsible for delivering training, providing support, and ensuring drivers meet the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and make a significant impact on driver development within your area.
As a Regional Driver Trainer, You Will
- Deliver training based on our current 21 modules, ensuring all drivers meet safety and operational standards.
- Identify additional training needs and tailor bespoke solutions, including Driver CPC modules, to address them.
- Provide specialist guidance on safety and technical support to drivers and Transport Managers.
- Audit training activities and driver performance to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Support driver selection, assessment, and mentoring for new drivers and apprentices, helping them develop and maintain skills throughout their training.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry changes, ensuring drivers remain legally compliant at all times.
You’ll have a business needs vehicle to help you cover your region effectively, and you’ll be the visible leader in the field, setting the standards and supporting drivers in achieving them.
What We’re Looking For
- A confident trainer with excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise your workload, and manage your time effectively.
- Experience in designing and delivering both classroom and in-field training.
- An HGV Driver with a CAT C driving licence and a commitment to safety and compliance.
- Willingness to travel and interact with drivers across your region.
This role will require you to be located within a reasonable commuting distance from one of our sites to ensure you can travel easily across your region. Regional break down provided below.
