Our Centres are in Biggin Hill, Penge, Mottingham, Bromley North, Orpington and St Paul’s Cray. You may be asked to work out of any of the 6 centres, so the ability to travel around the borough is essential. - A compassionate and understanding personality, with an employment record demonstrating the ability to engage positively with children, parents and staff.
- The ability to support children with additional needs through differentiation of delivery.
- The ability to lead ‘Learn and Play’ sessions and inspire parents to enhance their child’s development.
- Evidence of outstanding practice and of promoting high standards of learning.
- The abilty to interpret and deliver pre-planned Creche and Learn and Play sessions
In addition to having the ability to perform as detailed in the job description, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to ensure the children in your care are happy, safe and in a stimulating environment. You will need to develop strong, trusting bonds with families and other support staff within the settings.
Successful candidates will be required to implement legislation and relevant policies from within London Borough Bromley and external agencies such as Department of Education and Ofsted.
The ability to self-reflect and actively and positively participate in the development of the setting, the wider service and your own performance and training needs is crucial.
