The Role
As the eCommerce Acceleration Manager, You will develop and implement best-in-class online execution across your assigned retailers with the aim to accelerate online sales, part of a growing eCommerce team empowered to own and act at speed but with agility and creativity by adopting an innovative approach to business challenges where required.
The teams will look to you for strategic direction and online expertise. You will learn from and work closely with industry leaders cross functionally and dedicated eCommerce experts in both the UK and EMEA, whilst staying connected externally with the latest trends externally to support innovation.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Search - Analyse dynamics and execute search strategies. Identify and share commercial opportunities supported with recommendations. Input into design and development of overarching strategy by the eCommerce Acceleration Lead.
- Manage retailer search campaigns & devise organic search strategies collaborating with top eCommerce agencies and the Commercial teams, monitoring key performance metrics (ROAS, Impressions, Conversion) ensuring execution. Manage budget implementation within internal guidelines.
- Content - Ensure compliance to standards using assets and materials liaising with Marketing and content syndicator owners. Identify and feedback content opportunities across SEO with your expertise of retailer algorithms. Briefing Brand Marketing to develop best-in-class eCommerce assets.
- Ratings & Reviews - Identify ratings and reviews opportunities across the portfolio and work with external agency to run campaigns to help meet targets.
- Online Shopper Experience- Determine the optimum online media trade plan for your retailers, including cross-category partnerships and taxonomy leveraging Category support and liaising with the Retail Performance team. Inform online media investment choices by shopper team, through recommendations with business cases, included in maintained playbooks.
- Assist the eCommerce Acceleration Lead with the design and delivery of cross-functional initiatives to fuel growth partnering with commercial teams.
- Collaborate with wider Digital Marketing and Brand teams whilst proactively sharing best practice with business units and wider functions.
- Attending customer meetings as the eCommerce execution expert, fostering relationships internally attending team meetings & externally
About You

What You Will bring to the team?
- Expertise in retailer search campaign management, either hands on set-up or through agencies. Experience of at least one of Amazon Ads, Citrus or Criteo and in managing large budgets is advantageous.
- Experience of online execution or Performance Marketing experience (FMCG experience desirable but not essential).
- A self-starter who solves problems independently with a curious mindset. See opportunities and make them happen with tenacity.
- Strength in data analysis and attention to detail, proven ability to translate into actionable insights.
- Ability to engage and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Customer facing experience advantageous.
- Are competent using Microsoft Office Package.
