Ecommerce Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Take charge of all ecommerce operations, including product management, order processing, shipping and delivery, inventory management, and customer service.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer orders and shipments, leaving our customers delighted.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment with company objectives and strategies, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Analyse and report on ecommerce metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, driving continuous growth.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards that elevate efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, ensuring optimal product availability and minimizing stockouts.
• Cultivate strong relationships with third-party vendors, including shipping carriers and technology providers, to maximize our partnerships.
• Manage and maintain the ecommerce budget, ensuring all expenses are within approved levels, contributing to financial stability.
• Lead and mentor a team of ecommerce professionals, empowering their growth, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Possess 5+ years of experience in ecommerce operations management, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or similar, enabling you to leverage technology for optimal performance.
• Experience managing and developing a team of ecommerce professionals, fostering their growth and maximising their potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across functions and departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to make data-driven decisions and address challenges proactively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and delivering results under pressure.
• Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and achieving tangible results.
• Experience in managing budgets and understanding profit and loss (P&L) dynamics.
