As part of a joint venture with Anglian Water and the @one Alliance partnership, Skanska is seeking an Electrical Appointed Person / Supervisor to join our infrastructure team in Peterborough where the partnership's mission is to improve and expand the Anglian Water network to ensure an efficient water supply for all their customers.
What you'll do:
- Oversee electrical work and site electricians, issuing permits and ensuring electrical safety rules are followed.
- Implement @one Alliance Management System requirements and test and record all electrical plant and equipment and follow approved method statements and risk assessments.
- Ensure site personnel have job relevant training requirements and that sub-contractors are monitored.
- Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of gangs/site operatives and deliver toolbox talks.
- Order and manage equipment and control of plant and materials on site.
- Assist in project management from design to delivery for @one Alliance and external electrical engineers.
- Complete electrical site safety audits, manage completion paperwork and AP administration, and attend progress meetings.
- Promote, monitor and have ownership of the quality of the works being delivered by you and your teams.

- CSCS Affiliated Electrical Supervisor Card
- CITB SMSTS
- BS7671 18th edition qualified electrician
- Test and Inspection 2394/2395 (2391)
- EUSR National Water Hygiene Card
- UPS Systems – AP
- C&G 2391 – Inspection and Testing/C&G 2377 – Portable Appliance Testing
