Electrical Specialist

We have over 175 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our technical team by recruiting two experienced electrical engineers to be based from our Stockport, Greater Manchester office, with UK and limited EU travel.

We are looking for the following :

• a good degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering

plus excellent knowledge, post qualification, of industrial electrical infrastructure to include:

• good electrical design and commissioning experience gained in an industrial, utility, renewable power or consultancy environment.
• experience with HV and LV, embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, switchgear and substations.
• experience with industry standard electrical software.
• familiar with feasibility studies and design reviews.
• an excellent understanding of health, safety and welfare within engineering.
• witnessing of both site and factory acceptance testing.
• ability to assess manufactured equipment for faults.
• the provision of site-based construction monitoring.
• able to work as part of a wider electrical engineering team.
• willingness and able to travel in the UK and occasionally EU/Ireland.
• full driving licence.
• full right to work in the UK.
