Role Purpose
Due to continued growth bridges are currently looking for an electrician supervisor on a permanent basis. This role will involve supervising electrical engineering works to be completed on SES Water and Southern Water sites across Southern England.
The Role
This is a permanent job role.
Core hours Monday to Friday, contracted to 40hrs per week on site. Paid hourly with overtime paid by the hour.
You will be paid your travel time door to door, on top of your contracted and overtime hours.
Company van can be provided or we can provide a van allowance (providing you have a suitable van with no signage).
- To be responsible for supervising electrical installations
- Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to
- Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards
- To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment
- To coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices
- Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients
- Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peer
Requirements
The Candidate
- ECS gold card (essential)
- SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
- Experience as an Electrical Supervisor
- Experience within water / heavy industrial / construction industry
- Industrial and/or panel wiring experience
- Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
- CCNSG (or similar)
- Full UK driving license
- Fit to work medical
Desirable:
- EUSR water hygiene
- Thames water passport
- Inspection and testing certification
- Emergency first aid or First Aider
- PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
- COMPEX
