The position

We are currently seeking for a Electrical Technician to join our offshore team on BW Catcher FPSO.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

• Operate power plant, electrical distribution system and Power Management System
• Perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of power plant and electrical distribution
• Perform maintenance of power plant, electrical distribution system, electrical equipment & emergency power systems
• Maintain Ex rating of electrical equipment
  
  

Qualification

• A ssist in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
• Responsible to provide clear and concise daily work logs
• Responsible for ensuring that relevant requirements of the Safety and Environmental Management System (SEMS) are used as the term of reference
• Prepare required reports
• Use the Permit To Work system, prepare permits
• Member of the Emergency Response Team
• 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Substantial Oil and Gas experience may be used as a substitute for formal qualifications
• Offshore UK and FPSO experience is desirable but not essential

• Fluent Oral and Written English
