About The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and professional HR Officer to join our team and support the Business Unit General Manager (BUGM) in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. This role will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks, including employee relations advice, record keeping, data monitoring and reporting, as well as event coordination. The HR Officer will foster a positive work environment, maintain high standards of confidentiality, and provide support in maintaining office workflows to ensure the company operates effectively
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in line with GDPR
- Assist in preparing HR documents, including employment contracts, onboarding materials, and employee handbooks
- Manage HR correspondence (emails, letters, memos) and respond to employee queries.
- Organize and maintain the HR filing system (both physical and digital)
- Support the onboarding process by preparing materials and coordinating induction sessions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions and concerns.
- Assist with organizing employee engagement activities and wellness programs
- Take notes at HR meetings and provide guidance as needed.
- Support the performance appraisal process, tracking schedules and documentation and assist in providing guidance on performance improvement plans.
The Person
- Interest in completing a CIPD qualification or CIPD Level 5 qualified, ideally with experience in a busy HR environment.
- Excellent IT and keyboard skills with a working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and presentation of work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
