Join our team as the Regional Design and Construction PMO Head for EMEA, where you will drive operational excellence and strategic alignment in project management. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our regional projects and deliver impactful results. You will develop and manage a "best in class" outsourced PMO organization and will promote and execute a "best in class" customer service culture throughout the D&C organization that consistently delivers high quality and be a trusted advisor.
As the EMEA GRE – Regional Design and Construction PMO Head, you will oversee the end-to-end operations of our Design & Construction (D&C) projects, ensuring compliance with JPMorgan Chase's governance and policies. You will collaborate with key internal partners i.e. Sourcing, Technology, Security, Multimedia, Legal, Finance, Controllers, to support project teams in achieving budget, schedule, and quality targets, while fostering a culture of exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage Service Provider for all Capital project delivery within the region, to agreed KPI’s and SLA’s and delivering best value, in compliance to the Clients and GRE’s standards, codes of ethics and values. Escalate issues to Global D&C Operations Head and D&C Region Head. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with project owners, business functions, IT, Controls, vendors and other project stakeholders
- Managing, guiding and providing a point of escalation for Service Provider regional leads, to ensure, consistency of governance, delivery, best practice and local codes is adhered
- Provide solutions to efficiently address administration challenges encountered by local project management teams, while ensuring framework of governance requirements.
- Overseeing the initiation, coordination, planning and approval of all projects, ensuring that benefits and risk are identified, quantified and documented in the Project Business Case
- Be responsible for knowledge transfer, training, on-boarding of local project management teams including project governance, process and templates and best practices
- Support and manage Annual Budgeting and cash flows as well as coordinate with Global PMO team for reporting, playbook reviews & audit and ensuring that lessons learnt are both captured and integrated back into D&C processes, developing continuous improvement
- Working with Legal to manage contract standardization and continuous improvements to capture lessons learnt.
- Provide quality control of contracts prior to execution. Assist local D&C teams to seek advice and approval from internal stakeholders for contract departures (Legal, Controls, D&C Region Head). Assist where required in negotiation of contract terms with vendors.
- Manage the integration of data through PMWeb for project risk management and single source of truth.
- Manage Vendor Third Party Oversight and vendor management initiatives with the Vendor Management Organization (VMO)
- Primary point of contact with various internal Controls and Monitoring groups, including audits and enhanced project reviews; work with local Service Providers to ensure any enhanced controls are being adhered to with project execution
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Degree in a real estate or relevant discipline.
- Extensive work experience in a similar role, including experience of managing complex, multi-location projects.
- Proven experience in team management and stakeholder collaboration.
- Strong industry market knowledge and experience working with diverse clients across multiple locations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in developing financial business plans.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience in vendor management and third-party oversight.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as PMWeb.
