This is an exciting time to join a dynamic and innovative CAMHS workforce in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES). We are situated in Keynsham, Bristol, covering approximately 50% of schools across B&NES.
The B&NES MHST currently consists of Educational Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) and Child Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP's) delivering 1:1 and group interventions. In addition, EMHPs work closely with local schools to support them in adopting a ‘whole school approach’ to mental health and wellbeing, to improve outcomes for CYP, parents/carers and staff.
Working within B&NES MHST, your role will be to supervise EMHPs and help them to develop their role. Supervision consists of both Case Management Supervision and Clinical Skills Supervision, following a low intensity model.
This may include trainee EMHPs (Band 4) and/or qualified EMHPs / CWP's (Band 5). In addition, you will be involved in triaging and allocating referrals. You will also hold a small caseload, support with Whole School Approach delivery and will develop good working relationships with schools.
Oxford Health is a great place to work and to be able to showcase the best of yourself when making an application you are encouraged to read the “candidate guide to making an application” which is attached to all roles.
Please include details around qualifications (including years these were gained particularly if we need to assess for clinical roles that these are still valid) and ensure that the supporting statement is tailored to the role you are applying for and addresses the essential criteria found in the JD.
