Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Employee Relations Advisor to join us on a 12 Month Secondment. We’re offering a competitive base salary and good benefits package.
What you'll be doing:
- Engaging with customer queries to provide expert advice and support on our people policies
- Maintaining precise records in the MyHR system and escalating complex Employee Relations matters when necessary
- Developing team processes using insights from ER cases to enhance service quality
- Organising and prioritising tasks to meet high standards and service level agreements
- Identifying and escalating root cause analyses to reduce errors and promote positive working practices
- Empowering key stakeholders through clear explanations, feedback, and coaching on core HR procedures
- Participating in continuous improvement and development initiatives within the Employee Relations team
- Protecting our organisation’s reputation by fostering positive relationships between HR, UNITE, and the business
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- Qualified with CIPD Level 3 or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Knowledgeable in employment legislation, HR policies, and procedures
- Skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, managers, and HR colleagues
- Aware of the organisation’s challenges and opportunities within the HR context
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Communicative with the ability to clearly explain HR processes, procedures, and risks
- Accurate in completing basic calculations (e.g., company sick pay)
- Analytical in identifying, interpreting, and analysing key ER case information to provide suitable solutions
