We're looking for am Environmental Advisor to join our Devonport Docks team based in Plymouth, Devon
KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. We are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and we are seeking a Environmental Advisor to assist the Environmental team.
Location: Devon, Plymouth
Contract: Permanent, full time, subsistence packages available for those further afield happy to travel / relocate
Responsibilities An Environmental Advisor
The Environmental Advisor will lead and coordinate work across the Devonport framework to develop, design, provide operational control, construction oversight, and commission projects associated with delivering Infrastructure at Devonport Dockyard
What will your day to day will include as a Environmental Advisor?
- Ensure environmental issues are identified and managed effectively by the project team.
- Contribute to environmental inspection and auditing schedule, identify environmental issues, and support the project team in remedial measures.
- Support the maintenance of the JV Environmental Management System.
- Implement the Environmental Management System and support the project team in delivery.
- Manage environmental incident reporting and investigation and support the project team in remedial measures.
What are we looking for?
This role of Environmental Advisor / BREEAM Assessor is great for you if you:
- Civil Engineering/Construction/Environmental related (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
- Experience of similar role, preferred in relevant sector (ie Nuclear and Defence)
- CSCS – White AQP/PQP
