How you'll make a difference

As an Environment Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the design, development, governance, and maintenance of mission-critical non-production on-prem and cloud environments. You’ll leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to contribute on projects, drive innovation and explore new technologies. You’ll assist with the technical direction and execution of deliveries, ensuring high-quality solutions are aligned with business goals.

You’ll be proficient in all aspects of non-production on-prem and cloud environments disciplines and understand architecture and design principles. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of all operational requirements, and ensure Scalability, Resiliency, Observability and Maintainability are at the forefront of all engineering activities.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in technology initiatives to build and maintain key elements of infrastructure and associated project portfolio.
• Minimum 2 years' experience of data centre operations, telecommunications, network engineering, data center applications, client/server computing.
• Proficient (minimum 2 years' experience) in specific technologies of note include, but not limited to, Microsoft Server and Client operating systems and infrastructure applications, AWS Cloud, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Cisco and Networking, VMware, EMC a SANs.
• Experience in data centre operations, telecommunications, network engineering, data centre applications, client/server computing.
• Proficient in specific technologies including, but not limited to, Microsoft Server and Client operating systems and infrastructure applications, AWS Cloud, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Cisco and Networking, VMware,
• Background in scaled agile software delivery.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
