We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Equipment Storesperson to join our Inspection Services team in Rosyth.

Position

  • Responsible for managing the Glacier Inspection Services (GIS) stores on a daily basis
  • Responsible for the function checking of NDT equipment (training can be provided)
  • Responsible for checking the Rope Access equipment (training can be provided)
  • Accountable for the management of the Workshop work order process
  • Responsible for delivering equipment to sites, both UK and sometimes mainland Europe.
  • Undertake responsibility for the co-ordination of all purchasing of equipment for GIS including the recording of all transactions
  • Responsible for maintaining the stock levels within the budget set by the business, improving efficiency wherever possible
  • Support the achievement of business KPI’s, including targets relating to; P reporting accuracy, stock control (WIP), finance, labour costs and other measures, as agreed
  • Responsible for engaging with suppliers/sub-contractors to improve quality, pricing and lead times
  • Undertake visiting suppliers to carry out audits or to attend meetings on an ad-hoc basis, where required (UK based predominantly)
  • Support the timely production of month end reports in conjunction with GIS Operations and Sales
  • Responsible for the analysis of supplier performance
  • Manage and maintain the NCR reporting
  • Support the company through all audit procedures
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including quality, safety, environmental and HR
  • Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business
  • Support the timely production of month end reports in conjunction with GIS Operations, QHSE and Sales
  • Always protect company’s interests


Experience

  • Technical certification / experience in NDT or Rope Access or acceptable relevant experience in either (advantageous but not essential)
  • Knowledge of oil and gas, renewable energy and chemical energy (advantageous but not essential)
  • Good working knowledge of ISO9001 requirements
  • Valid UK Driving License required for usage of company vehicle
  • IT literate with specific experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point programs
