Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all. Camden’s vibrant cultural sector, featuring over 7,000 businesses and supporting the UK's sixth largest Evening and Night Time Economy, is key to the borough's identity. The Camden Event Service manages community festivals and events, requiring strong client relationships, marketing, and flexible hours for indoor and outdoor space hires.
What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Events and Partnerships Officer to join our Events and Culture service team. In this vital role, you will leverage your expertise in generating income and managing diverse client relationships to enhance the profile and ambitions of our service within the borough.
Working closely with the Events and Major Projects Manager, you will spearhead the commercialisation of our indoor and outdoor event portfolio, driving revenue generation through innovative partnerships with third-party brands and organisations, including council and corporate partners. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, conducting engaging show-rounds, and ensuring our marketing materials are up-to-date and impactful. You will manage budgets and oversee the operational delivery of events, collaborating across teams to secure opportunities and engage the community effectively.
