About This Role

Are you a calm and authoritative individual who is reliable and punctual? We are looking for Exam Invigilators to support our Exams Officer in the execution of assessments and exams throughout the year. This is an excellent opportunity for a wide range of people looking for part time flexible work throughout the year.

The successful candidates will be part of a team of Invigilators reporting to the Exams Officer, and assist with the preparation of examination rooms, distribute and collect exam papers and supervise candidates during examinations. The role is offering £13.43 an hour with minimum sessions of 2 hours working days and hours will vary according to your availability, examination dates and number of invigilators needed for each exam.. No experience is needed as training will be given, but a willingness to support our young people during times of exam stress by being a confident and reassuring presence is a must.

The Academy

The Academy is continuing to expand and due to its popularity and increasing student numbers, a new £6 million wing was opened in September 2018. This extension is an addition to the £20.6 million state-of-the-art building that was completed September 2012, giving every student the opportunity to learn in an exciting and inspiring environment at an Academy that has been recognised for its high standards of inclusion. The Academy has continued to build on the successes of the last few years and achieved strong results at GCSE & A-Level in the summer.
