Leading on and developing our key relationship with NHS England (NHSE), this pivotal role involves driving contract renewals, fostering revenue growth, and continuously making valuable contributions to both NHSE and NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS). You will be responsible for ensuring compliance while delivering value. You will navigate complex partner relationships and have the potential to influence significant change across the NHS. What you'll be doing:
- Establishing and championing long-term, executive-level relationships with NHSE and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), finding opportunities to meet retention and growth targets. Your relationship leadership skills will be key in delivering positive outcomes for both sides.
- Driving revenue and contract growth within NHSE and ICBs, identifying profitable areas for cross-selling and upselling opportunities while expanding the service portfolio.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive NHSE account plan, ensuring alignment with internal teams and broader business goals. Regularly reviewing and adjusting the plan to remain relevant and on track.
- Leading contract discussions for BPO services, ensuring terms are aligned with company policies and objectives, leading on all aspects of contract administration
- Monitoring client satisfaction, ensuring NHSE views us as a trusted partner. Gather valuable insights to improve future sales strategies and overall service delivery.
- Cultivating relationships across multiple levels of the account, adjusting approaches based on client needs and contract requirements.
- Spearheading the adoption of new services and solutions, ensuring NHSE is an early adopter of innovative products and services.
- Collaborating with internal product development, executive teams, and external partners to make sure alignment and success are achieved across the board.
What you’ll bring:
- Shown experience in account and contract management, ideally in a high-value, complex environment like the NHS. Experience in managing large-scale contracts with a strong understanding of contract negotiations and service delivery.
- Track record of driving revenue growth, finding opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and rapidly growing service portfolios within existing accounts.
- Leadership expertise with experience in developing teams, driving performance, and maintaining relationships at all levels.
- Creative problem-solving and critical thinking for navigating complex accounts, excelling in ambitious environments, and managing high expectations.
- Proficient in negotiation techniques and contract law, with the ability to apply standard methodologies to effectively oversee high-stakes contracts.
It would be great if you had:
- Experience in NHS sector sales, particularly in BPO-related roles.
- Strong understanding of NHS Finance, Procurement, and HR.
- Background in consulting or business with a similar market offering.

Salary: up to £85,000 per annum (depending upon experience and development needs)
