Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market.  Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path.

The Core Team is part of the Restructuring Advisory Team and the wider Transactions service line. Core operates on a national basis, responsible for providing Restructuring services to clients including advisory and formal insolvency. The team will be based across the country, predominately consisting of a mix of students who have graduated through the Restructuring Delivery Team (“RDT”) and more experienced staff providing guidance, training and support. Core will be supporting by the RDT tasked with delivering and suggesting solutions to ensure the best results for clients and stakeholders.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Completing assignments in accordance with the Firm’s standard Advisory procedures and where relevant statutory obligations, and to confirm arrangements with the client, company, or appointer, including likely costs and billing arrangements.
• Working closely alongside other Restructuring Advisory staff to plan and execute insolvency assignments, and potentially manage appropriate insolvency cases as required, in accordance with the Firm’s standard procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Understanding the challenges currently being faced by the client and developing solutions alongside the Partner/ Director and other RA staff.
• Liaising with the creditors, directors and other interested parties throughout any assignment as required and to practise the principles of excellent client service at all times.
• Assisting with client take on procedures and timely completion of Citadel.
• Assisting and supporting the Restructuring Advisory Core team.
  
  
  

What we are looking for:

• Experience in Restructuring Advisory and / or Insolvency in a similar role.
• Organisational and time management skills and able to demonstrate a commercial outlook.
• Commitment to high quality delivery within agreed timeframes.
• Candidates will ideally be CPI qualified.
