Job purpose:
The F&B Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, high-quality food, and a positive dining experience. You will manage staff, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, handle inventory, and work to achieve financial targets. Strong leadership skills are needed to create a motivated and efficient team that consistently meets customer expectations.
This restaurant will sit within our Aelia duty free store at Belfast Airport which is undergoing a significant redevelopment with the estimated opening of the new store in March 2025. During the time before store opening there will be full training on our system and processes, and the responsibility of supporting recruitment for the growing team.

Location: Belfast International Airport
Salary: £30,925
Contract: 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days
Bonus: Performance based bonus scheme, paid annually on achievement of objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage, train, and schedule staff, ensuring adequate coverage and quality service.
- Ensure customers have a positive dining experience by addressing issues and resolving complaints promptly.
- Monitor and maintain HACCP policies for all restaurant activities across shifts.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Maintain inventory and manage supplier relationships to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Handle financial duties, such as budgeting, sales analysis, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Ensure brand standard compliance within your restaurant
- Ensures preventive maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with Company standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar hospitality role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Accessing the airport:
A five-year working and personal reference, along with a Criminal Reference Check, will be required for this role as the store is airside in the departures lounge. This will be discussed in more detail at interview stage or please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.
