Description
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintain the electrical wiring of the site.
- Improve and upgrade the electrical wiring of the site as and when required.
- Make the lead in equipment installations.
- Maintain the site schematic and circuit charts.
- Assist in maintaining the engineering stores by identifying parts and raising parts requisition forms for repairs and stock replenishment.
- Ensure stores booking in and out procedures are being adhered to.
- Responsible for ensuring current practices meet Health and Safety and Food Safety standards, and where possible that they exceed requirements.
- Assist shift maintenance engineers as and when required.
- Providing training, support and guidance to electrical engineer apprentices.
- Your normal contractual hours of work are 45 per week. You will work five days in any seven and you will work eight or nine hours per day. Your working times will vary and will depend on the demands of the role and the needs of the business. However, it is anticipated that the normal working hours will be 08.00-17.00, Monday to Friday inclusive.
