Purpose of the Role
Join the Connected Car function as a Features Owner where you will be responsible for the full ‘End to End’ specification, configuration, test and validation of Connected Services including planning to achieve the cost, timing and quality targets for the project. Reporting into the Functional Manager – Connected Car Development, your main responsibilities include;
- Feature Ownership of assigned connected services, “End to End” specification, development, test and validation, through test environments to live, including post live support until services are retired
- Reviewing, assessing and road-mapping the impact of automotive regulations relating to allocated services
- Project Planning and managing service implementation and certification of Emergency Call services
- Supporting other call services such as Private Ecall, Breakdown call and Information call
- Test planning/Test coordination/test execution
- Ability to analyse and solve complex problems using various tools and techniques including 8D
- Ability to communicate at various levels across the company in different forums, including presentation creation and delivery and generation of Engineering/IT diagrams

About You – Skills And Experience
- Computer Science/IT, Engineering degree or equivalent
- Ideally OEM experience of Emergency Call systems and services including legal E-Call
- Telecoms connectivity knowledge
- An Automotive/IT Engineer with proven ability of owning the delivery of Connected Services
