Radius is looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team.

Responsibilities Day To Day Will Be…

• Own the payroll analysis processes within Fuel and Central Cost finance, covering the majority of our colleagues across the group.
• Own the control and reconciliation of the payroll related balance sheet, ensuring best practice and bringing more payroll’s into the centralised process.
• Opportunity to redevelop and implement new ways of working, to maximise efficiency and quality of reporting.
• Manage and develop a team of 1 trainee management accountant to deliver high quality performance.
• Working with stakeholders to build budget plans, review headcount and structure, and help the business take insight and action from their numbers.
• Ensuring a quality year end audit pack is delivered to the auditors at the end of the financial year.
• Develop relationships with other finance stakeholders and deliver insight on the key cost driver of salaries to enable these stakeholders to improve performance.
• You will be a champion of finance processes and systems providing proactive assistance, support and guidance to the team, to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies and adherence to Group policy
• Support the senior finance management team with ad hoc projects, and the budgeting process.
  
  
  

Experience / Qualifications Required

• Nearly or Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA / CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in a Finance related role
• Strong excel and modelling skills, preferably advanced level
• Experience with data preparation and transformation on large datasets
• Ability to build a strong rapport with members of the Finance Team and across the organisation
• Experience of interacting across all levels of the organisation including dealing with non-finance people to gather relevant information
• Able to work under pressure and effectively prioritise to achieve strict deadlines and targets
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience of working within a fast-paced entrepreneurial business desirable
