Finance Director - Fintech - London

Miryco Consultants is looking for a Finance Director to join a Fintech business leading in their field.

As the Finance Director, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial direction of the organisation by overseeing all financial activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes.
• Oversee financial reporting, including the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Requirements:

• Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CMIA or equivalent).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in a similar situation – rapidly growing firm with <£10m revenue.
• Strong adaptability and initiative.
• Deep understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
