Owned by one of the largest Software companies in the world, the business was Founded less than 10 years ago and have been on an incredible growth journey since. They now have a large portfolio of businesses in the UK and globally, and still looking to acquire further.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the finance team, responsible for leading the team and processes across the finance function. Primary responsibility will be ownership of the Management Accounting, Financial Reporting and Controls, whilst business partnering various stakeholders within the Group with strategic influence.

Responsibilities include;

• Guiding, leading and developing direct reports with an emphasis on mentoring and strengthening the team.
• Produce timely and reliable monthly management accounts to tight deadlines for a selection of companies.
• Support / assist with acquisition related activity.
• Identify and investigate variances against benchmarks, provide analysis of differences, and explore potential problems with non-financial stakeholders.
• Support and challenge the business heads with the Group's Quarterly Strategic Review process (forecasting).
• Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules, tax computations and cash flow forecasts.
• Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers, advise on the business impact and make appropriate recommendations.
• Involvement in on-going process development and transformation projects to improve business efficiency and profitability.
• Act as a Business Partner within all aspects of the role.
• Capture data and analysis to provide support to business decision making.
• Contribute to the success of the overall corporate strategy.
