We sell to over 185 countries; offering over 2.5m products across dozens of entertainment categories including music, film, books and toys. 

We're looking for an enthusiastic, driven and professional individual to become part of our team based in Chiswick, London as Financial Controller.

The Position & Experience:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant/bookkeeper who would like to grow in a very hands on and varied role. 

-      The applicant must have experience of bookkeeping to trial balance for SME and preparing monthly management accounts.

-      Must have experience of using Sage 50, and strong Excel skills essential.

-      Must have at least 3 years experience in a similar role.

-      Must have strong written and verbal communications skills.

-      Experience of online ecommerce sales essential.

The Role:

-      Download, analyse and prepare monthly sales from all worldwide online platforms in multicurrency using excel.

-      Calculate VAT on sales where applicable.

-      Post and reconcile monthly sales, VAT, income and debtors.

-      Multi currency bank reconciliations.

-      Balance sheet reconciliations.

-      Preparation of monthly management accounts.

-      Supplier payment runs.

-      Oversee monthly payroll.

-      Liaise with HMRC, banks, Accountants and advisers where required.

-      Preparation and submission of Quarterly VAT returns.

-      Supervise a small team.

Job type: Full-time, Permanent (Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30)

Salary: Dependant on experience (£55k+)

Start date: Ideally immediate, but within 3 months.
