The Purpose Of The Role
We are currently looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team in our central Glasgow office.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into performance across the entire group, with the ability to drive performance and support growth. As a finance analyst you will provide valuable data analysis and reporting, building on current procedures to ensure valuable management reporting.
Key Responsibilities
The key focus areas for the Finance Analyst role are:
- Working in partnership with the regional and group finance teams to support the internal and external reporting cycle.
- Consolidation of regional monthly performance into actionable insight.
- Ability to use and maintain business intelligence tools.
- Develop and maintain management reporting dashboards to monitor business performance.
- Provide valuable data analysis to contribute to accurate financial reporting. Work with the team to drive improvements and ensure data accuracy.
- Build, maintain and develop current group reporting to ensure data integrity.
- Support the annual budget process.
- Continuous improvement of existing processes across the wider finance planning team to help improve efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- It would be beneficial to be qualified in accountancy (ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience of management reporting including month end P&L and forecasting.
- Strong technical accounting experience.
- Detail oriented with an interest in continuous improvement.
- Strong reporting skills and good experience of using MS Office (Excel).
