Description

IAM and WTR, two market-leading intellectual property content platforms, are seeking experienced reporters to add to their network of freelance content creators.
IAM reports on strategies for IP value creation, while WTR focuses on the management and protection of brands. Both have international beats and are dedicated to bringing breaking news and high-level analysis to an audience of senior business and legal professionals.
We are seeking freelance reporters who can interview key players in the industry, report on emerging industry trends, assess significant legal developments, and generate original story ideas.
To apply, send a copy of your CV, links to two stories that you have had published and three story ideas related to intellectual property for either IAM or WTR's audience.

Key Responsibilities


  • Authoring well-written content for an audience of senior IP professionals

  • Pitching ideas to the platform editors.



Skills Knowledge and Expertise


  • Experience working as a reporter, producing published content for specialist audiences.

  • A track record of producing compelling and insightful analysis, including long-form content.

  • Ability to proactively engage with the market and become a trusted contact for senior industry figures.

  • Willingness to represent the brand and report on relevant local events.

  • A strong interest in, or experience of, intellectual property
