Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Functional Safety Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the developmeent team and SW architecture team in the creation of safety product which fulfils the Functional Safety requirements. Working with internal, supplier and customer specifications, the engineer is responsible for guiding engineering activities as it pertains to Functional Safety. The engineer will independently plan the safety activities of a project, carry out work and serve as the technial authority regarding Functional Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the SW architect in the development of the SW safety concept
• Review the SW related safety requirements from SYS, HIS and SW
• Collaborate with the SW architect in the preparation of information needed for SW safety analyse (e.g. Critical Path)
• Corrodinate SW safety analysis (SW FMEA, DFA) to identify the potential failure
• Maintin SW safety analysis and their impact on safety
• Provide guideance and support to softare development team and architect on safety related topics like model standards, coding standards and safety validation techniques
• Represt the SW functiona safety in the SW subsystem in the customer meeting
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor/ Master degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, embedded system or a similar
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Functional Safety
• Hands-on software architecture experience to build automotive software platform or products
• Hands on experience deliverying the ISO26262 Part 4, Part 6 and Part 9
• Object oriented design and modeling with hands-on experience with architecture and design patterns
• Familiarity with embedded systems design, low-level hardware interactions
• Strong experience of middleware or application development on operating systems such as Linux, QNX
• Good verbal and written communication skills
  
  

Good to have Skills:

• Experience in automotive domains such as ADAS, Infotainment, Adaptive AUTOSAR
• Understanding of Adaptive AUTOSAR specifications
• Knowledge on MBSE
• Knowledge of methodology such ASPICE, MISRA guidelines and functional safety standards such as ISO26262
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD environment for embedded systems
• Experience in configuration management, change management methodologies
• Experience in Matlab and Simulink
