The Gas Operative (Support Engineer) will assist the Team Leader in locating and repairing public reported gas escapes, making safe gas service pipes or mains, and carrying out mains/service isolations
Key responsibilities include classifying gas escapes, conducting testing, surveying, and diagnostic work, as well as providing training and support to teams
The role involves planning resources, responding to emergencies, and ensuring excavation and repair work meets standards
