General Manager – Air Traffic Services, Belfast City

We are seeking an experienced and proactive General Manager to lead and manage our Air Traffic Services operation. This role ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, and customer-focused services while driving operational excellence and fostering a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Leadership: Promote and implement safety procedures, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Manage the delivery of air traffic services to meet high standards and adapt to evolving customer needs.
• Team Leadership: Inspire, coach, and develop staff while fostering strong employee engagement and collaborative union relations.
• Project Management: Lead key projects in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring on-time, quality delivery.
• Customer Collaboration: Build strategic relationships with customers, supporting capacity growth and operational development.
• Financial Oversight: Develop and manage business plans, budgets, and financial performance to achieve key targets.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven leadership experience in Air Traffic Services or a similar field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage change effectively.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Experience in team leadership, project delivery, and business planning.
• We are looking for individuals who hold or have held an Air Traffic Controller's licence.
