About Our Team
The headquarters are based in London, but how we execution our strategy is done at the regional level. We’ve divided the globe into five regions with leadership boards with cross functional representation. Each region is responsible for developing a three-year plan aligned with the global strategy. The sales teams are organised similarly and have an equal seat at the table in setting the direction of the business for their region.
About The Role
As the Global Head of Sales, you will lead and drive the global commercial growth of ICIS business. You will be responsible for the behaviours of execution of the sales organisation to achieving budget and long-term growth strategy.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in enabling the team’s understanding of the needs of our customers. Helping shape the business’s strategic priorities, ensuring alignment of the global sales team with the rest of ICIS’s business functions.
Responsibilities
- Developing and execute strategic plans to achieve sustained revenue growth and market trust.
- Continuing the transformation of the global sales team into a high-performing, value-based selling culture. Lead and mentor regional sales leaders, provide coaching and feedback to ensure teams achieve their defined goals
- Developing and implement robust sales management processes – revenue forecasting, demand generations, pipeline management, account planning, and proposals
- Defining training programs for Sales and measurement criteria to ensure they are equipped to position and sell solutions and capabilities
- Engaging industry leaders by attending key meetings and events. Guide marketing & product teams to align value proposition to customers’ needs.
- Driving long-term strategic priorities and commitments. Plan regional expansion and local presence of sales teams to support new business growth.
- Supporting the vision and values of the company through role modelling and encouraging desired behaviours. Encourage openness and feedback in teams and create a diverse and inclusive team culture
- Optimising diversity and representation across all levels of the business. Leading proactive succession planning and talent management to improve innovation and decision making
Requirements
- Demonstrate a track-record as a commercial leader with achievements in commercial growth in a data, software platform solutions business.
- Possess an enthusiastic and creative leadership approach with the ability to inspire others.
- Able to design and articulate strategic business plan to support growth of business across diverse geographies
- Display passion about providing a world-class customer experience
- Advocate for continuous learning and performance improvement with the ability to embed this within your team
- Build, motivate, energise, and engage teams that perform strongly. Take a coaching approach. Provide timely and constructive feedback which enables all people to grow and fulfil their potential.
