How you can make your mark
Make your mark as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer at Gardline!
Gardline are looking to recruit Graduate Geotechnical Engineers to join our team as part of the Graduate program. Graduates will gain experience within the geotechnical field both onshore and offshore (up to 60 days a year).
As a Graduate Project Engineer you will be introduced to:
- Logging of rock and soil samples
- Laboratory testing
- Classification
- Strength
- Consolidation
- Chemical
- Offshore sampling and data collection
- CPTu (Cone penetration testing with pore pressure measurement)
- SCPTu (Seismic CPTu)
- Push sampling
- Rotary coring
- Production of field and factual reports
- Review of project execution plans
Your primary responsibilities will be learning the above skills and assisting project engineers with ongoing field, laboratory, and reporting activities.
Qualifications
Your qualities:
You can make your mark as a graduate Geotechnical Project Engineer:
- A minimum BSc or equivalent degree with a specialisation in the Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering.
- Responsive and proactive approach to development and learning
- Be a team player within a very active and diverse industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel (up-to-date Passport is required and valid Driving License is preferred).

- Where you will work: Endeavour House, Admiralty Road, Great Yarmouth, NR30 3NG
- Hours: The position is fulltime (37.5 hours a week).
