This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced team of Integrity Management engineers delivering Integrity Management services to client companies across the globe in all industry sectors. You'll work alongside a senior engineer/consultant on all types of project sizes and complexities, with a particular emphasis on an agile approach to identify new and more efficient ways of working. The successful candidate will join our existing graduate development scheme and aim towards achieving chartership within a 4 to 5 year period.
Our team have seen many varied projects over the years, and this is your opportunity to share their experiences and learn from the best. Most of our team are Chartered Engineers, or working towards it, and will help you do likewise.

Hours: 40hrs full time
Main Accountabilities - Responsibilities, Tasks & Interactions:
Technical contribution
Performs basic mechanical engineering and technical safety tasks to generate initial project deliverables cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. All deliverables will be reviewed and approved by senior engineers and consultants. Exercises judgment on limited details of work and on application of standard methods. Prepares project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables.
Contract management
Monitors contract progress against milestones. Identifies variation requests to support contract claims issuing. Assists with the production of contract proposals.
Planning and control
Follows work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility. Ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost.
Risk and opportunity management
Supports risk assessments and implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility. Documents and handles technical risks according to mitigation guidelines.
Customer
Clarifies technical queries and progresses actions for customers. Interacts with all customers, other staff and contractors within one’s scope of deliverables.
Processes and tools
Uses standard processes, software and tools applicable to one’s area of responsibility. Reports process and tool inefficiencies, along with suggesting ideas for improvement.
Requirements - Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Minimum 2:1 Masters degree level qualified in Mechanical Engineering. High level Bachelors considered in exceptional circumstances, but candidate must be aware that the pathway to Chartered Engineer will require their investment to achieve it.
- Clean UK Driving License.
- Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate.
Desirable
- Engineering experience, especially from working in High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals, Steel, power Generation Industries.
- Associate member of relevant institution e.g. Institution of Mechanical Engineers
