The Role
You will support and assist fee earners in carrying out duties and where appropriate to deal with clients and their affairs in a cost-effective manner under direct supervision.
You will be working directly with the regulators (who are our clients) in conducting interventions in to law firms across the country.
What makes role great?
Its extremely unique and something that you wont find at most law firms.
There are only 4 firms in the country who can be appointed to act as agents by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Stephensons is one of them!
No intervention is the same, which keeps us on our toes! We never know what we are going to be dealing with. It could be conveyancing, crime, PI, or family work, which results in fantastic exposure to a variety of work types.
You
First of all we ask that you have a real interest in the legal sector and this area of law, we also require that you have;
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent (grade A-C/5-9)
- Experience of dealing with customers/clients
- Experience of dealing with high volumes of telephone calls.
- Experience of working in a busy environment.
- Effective and efficient communication skills
The Team
The department is a small, close-knit team, they are specialist, professionals who have an extremely important role to fill. Though they have a high regarded role, they are extremely warm, welcoming and down to earth!
