Position Pupose

We are looking for a talented & highly motivated individual to join our LME options trading desk. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced trading team who operate as one of the most active option market makers on the LME. The role will be focused around but not limited to providing support with trade booking & reconciliation, client relationship management and development of electronic trading platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of trades, including order entry and trade confirmation.
• Carry out daily & intraday reconciliation of trader’s position & liaising with necessary teams when breaks occur.
• Develop relationships with existing & new clients to the desk.
• Work closely with trading team, to develop understanding of options trading & flow trading.
• Coding skills essential to assist in the development and maintenance of electronic option trading platform
• Support the team in the evaluation of new trading strategies and ideas to improve desk profitability and/or efficiency.
• Follow closely financial and commodity markets, so can remain informed on situations that can impact the base metals markets

Early Careers Requirement

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating by 2025 or have graduated in 2024.
• Must be authorized to work in UK the role is based
