The Role:
We are looking for an experienced, Graphic Designer to be responsible for guiding and supporting the development, implementation and production of the Oldham College/University Campus Oldham brand assets across all publications and platforms.
This role is to facilitate high-quality and smooth implementation of creative assets both on and offline. You will need an excellent knowledge of design studio software coupled with strong creative thinking and outstanding attention to detail. The work is fast-paced and the post holder will ideally need understand the world of Further and Higher Education.
You will manage and produce a variety of materials for Oldham College and University Campus Oldham including; brochures, reports, prospectus, large format graphics, print, advertising and digital assets – ensuring that each correlate and align to our brand identity, guidelines and values.
You will need to manage the entire process from receiving the design brief such as creative positioning, graphic design, finished artwork, print specifications, managing external suppliers and delivery.
You must be able to work closely with senior managers, colleagues, external suppliers and stakeholders to ensure consistency. You will have brand guardian responsibility for all online and physical materials used across our campus sites.
This role is critical to supporting strong visibility to enhance Oldham College and University Campus Oldham’s reputation within the borough and the surrounding area. A comprehensive understanding of the College’s Strategic Plan and drivers is required along with industry quality standards.
Requirements:
· Experienced Graphic Designer
· Previous experience in FE or HE education is desirable
· Excellent creative design skills and experience in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software
· Excellent organisational and project management skills
· Possession of strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate alternative courses of action and formulate recommendations.
· Experience of working with external suppliers and ensuring good value for money.
· Ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders.
