About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Greenfield Set-Up Specialist to join our growing team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on new ventures, setting up operational frameworks, processes, and systems for brand new business operations from the ground up. As a key player in the company’s growth strategy, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless establishment and successful launch of greenfield projects.

About You

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Lead and manage the end-to-end set-up process for new greenfield projects, from initial concept to full-scale operation. This includes the planning, coordination, and execution of all necessary actions to establish operational infrastructure.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, legal, IT, and finance, to ensure smooth implementation of new operations. Engage with key stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
• Process Development: Design and implement effective processes and operational procedures that align with business goals and regulatory requirements. Standardise workflows to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Vendor and Partner Management: Identify and engage with third-party vendors, contractors, and partners to facilitate the physical and operational set-up of new facilities or offices. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships.
• Risk and Compliance Management: Ensure that all greenfield operations comply with relevant legal, environmental, and health and safety regulations. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to teams involved in the new operations, ensuring smooth transition and optimal functioning post-launch.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor the success of the greenfield set-up and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements, cost efficiencies, and optimisations.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in setting up greenfield operations, ideally in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, or technology. Experience in project management, operational set-up, or business transformation roles is highly desirable.
• Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously. Formal project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are advantageous.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify challenges early on, assess risk, and proactively develop effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business operations, financial planning, and the ability to create strategies for the successful launch and growth of new ventures.
• Flexibility and Travel: Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings, as required.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or similar efficiency practices.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards within the UK.
