£120,000-£140,000 Depending on experience.
Our client is a private equity-backed healthcare organisation experiencing rapid growth through organic expansion and acquisitions. With a focus on operational improvement and strategic growth, the business is mid-cycle and progressing toward a planned exit. As part of this journey, they are enhancing financial processes and strengthening leadership within the finance function.
The Group Finance Director will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence, supporting M&A activities, and leading exit preparation efforts. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the SLT/Investors, the successful candidate will ensure robust financial management, oversee consolidation processes and provide strategic financial insights to support value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial operations, including consolidation, reporting, compliance, and financial controls.
- Partner with the executive team and private equity stakeholders to shape and execute the company’s growth and exit strategies.
- Oversee due diligence, financial modelling, and post-acquisition integration to ensure seamless transitions.
- Prepare the business for a successful exit through financial forecasting, value optimisation, and operational streamlining.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, and financial performance analysis.
- Restructure and upskill the finance team, focusing on process improvement, team training, and development of commercial finance capabilities.
- Serve as a key liaison with private equity investors, the CEO, and the broader leadership team.
- Work closely with the CFO on the exit process, contributing to strategy development, financial planning, and investor engagement.
Essential Qualifications / Skills:
- A seasoned finance professional with a strong track record in private equity-backed businesses, preferably in healthcare or related sectors.
- Deep knowledge of financial consolidation, M&A, exit planning, and process improvement.
- Proven ability to lead, restructure, and develop high-performing finance teams.
- Ability to drive long-term financial planning while managing day-to-day financial operations.
- A hands-on leader comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
