The role will be responsible for managing the Treasury function, banking relationships, optimising cash positions and in the process minimising foreign exchange risk and developing the Group's Treasury Policy.
Key Responsibilities
· Establish and maintain the Group's relationships with all banks and other financial service providers.
· Optimise global treasury positions, ensuring the availability of funds necessary for the company's operations.
· Develop, implement, and oversee the Group Treasury policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
· Design and lead hedging programs to mitigate risks from currency and interest rate fluctuations.
· Supervise daily cash positioning activities, including managing daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation, and bank reporting.
· Implement appropriate reporting and modelling capabilities to support short-term and long-term liquidity forecasting.
· Monitor debt covenant compliance and prepare related calculations and certificates, in accordance with debt agreements.
· Implement treasury reporting dashboards suitable for various stakeholders and track KPIs.
- Develop a program internally to drive working capital improvement across the Group.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Qualified Accountant and/or ACT qualified
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and group treasury operations with a track record of increased responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting and presenting at all levels.
- A strong and collaborative team player and leader
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and transformative environment.
- Knowledge of treasury accounting including liquidity management, cashflow forecasting, foreign exchange hedging and treasury best practices
- Strong financial modelling skills.
