About the company:

JSS Search are partnering with a leading Sports Management business based near Bracknell, on their search for a Head of Commercial Finance, to reporting directly into the CFO. The client is a rapidly growing, multi-million turnover leader, with operations across the world.

Primary role purpose:

The business are looking for a proven Head of Commercial Finance, with experience delivering commercial value and identifying opportunities/risks whilst developing a team.

In this role you will drive the business’ strategic partnering to support decision making, managing the annual budget process, monthly reporting and long term planning.

You Will:

• Lead the Commercial Finance department (direct and indirect) to develop strategic partnering to support decision-making across the business.
• Own the the annual budget, ensuring efficiency and accuracy while providing challenge and insights.
• Oversee monthly re-forecasting, focusing on risks and opportunities, and delivering regular profit and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage and consolidate long-term business plans for key metrics, with presentation to senior leadership.
• Provide quality analysis and insights for key stakeholders to support decision-making and drive business performance.
• Lead the implementation of new systems.
• Provide finance support to associated companies.
• Inspire the team, creating an ambitious working environment and promote development.

You Have:

• Accounting Qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas) with substantial post qualified experience
• Experience managing and developing large Finance teams
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business
• Excellent stakeholder engagement (financial and non-financial)
• A full UK driving licence with the ability to reach the office on a regular basis
