Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Salary: £75,500 per annum
Hours: 36 ¼ hours per week (hybrid working model)

Job Overview
As the Head of Property Compliance, you will lead our Property Compliance Service, ensuring that RBH meets all legal and regulatory requirements for property safety across our housing stock. You will oversee the delivery of our core property compliance programmes, including gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, water, and lift safety, as well as managing our Building Safety function for high-rise residential buildings. This role involves strategic leadership, collaboration with various stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of RBH’s property compliance programmes, ensuring timely and high-standard execution.
- Ensure robust policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks are in place for all compliance areas.
- Provide assurance to senior leadership and external regulators on the safety and compliance of RBH’s property portfolio.
- Drive performance improvements and maintain high standards of customer care, value for money, and legal compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop best practices and meet emerging regulatory requirements.

- Full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle.
Technical Competencies
- Relevant professional qualifications in property compliance or extensive equivalent experience (e.g., NEBOSH, Building Safety qualifications).
- In-depth knowledge of property safety management and the Health and Safety at Work Act, particularly in at least three compliance areas.
- Demonstrable experience in managing property compliance services for residential buildings, including strategic leadership and operational management.
- Expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, and delivering assurance-focused services.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
