North West based position - hybrid working
Kinaxia is continuing on an exciting journey of organisational transformation where technology is a major part of this change. You will have responsibility for the support and evolution of the technology infrastructure, security and IT services across Kinaxia. The role will also require IT service delivery improvement as you manage the outsourced infrastructure and IT services, and IT service partners, to deliver a robust, secure, 24 x 7 IT operation. As part of the IT leadership team, you will help create and own the technology roadmap for the organisation, supporting current initiatives and driving innovation for the future.
This position will suit candidates who want to take the next step in their IT leadership career to help build the IT services needed as Kinaxia continues to transform. The role requires an energetic, customer focused leader experienced in managing external IT services and capable of building a culture based on information security best practice. This role will be reporting directly into the IT Director.

About The Job
- Contribute to the IT strategy, and the evolution of IT policies and processes, and ensure the effective operational and financial management of information, hardware and software assets.
- Manage outsourced technical partners to deliver effective change, maintain enterprise architectural information and adhere to security standards whilst ensuring service levels are met.
- Manage and drive personal development of your direct reports to continuously improve the service being delivered.
- Proactively enhance security, disaster recovery, policies, standards and third party security services, and act as the security lead to manage risk, remain compliant and react to any security incident.
- Manage the project delivery of infrastructure/technology change projects, new technology deployment, or the incorporation of acquired businesses into the standard infrastructure, including the completion of impact assessments and report to the IT Change Board using PMO Standards so that projects are delivered to time and budget.
- Contribute to improving the adoption of IT throughout the Company by promoting, communicating, site visit and promotion of tools, including the communication of operational impacts of infrastructure/technology changes to business colleagues.
- Develop IT services catalogue for the management and delivery of end user devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, RF scanners, warehouse technology and CCTV applications, and provide best practice use of Microsoft 365 and desktop services to end users to ensure increased standardisation and efficiency
- Contribute to monthly board reporting pack regarding information security, systems performance, asset estate, relevant project updates, along with recommendations for technology investments.
- As appropriate, provide escalated on-site support of hardware, software and network connectivity issues to ensure business continuity.
- Travel to each location as and when required.
