Description

As Head of Reporting and Insight, you will join our Data team through an exciting phase of growth. You will develop and implement the business intelligence strategy of our firm, whilst overseeing operations and leading a team of Analysts. In this collaborative role, you will initiate and promote a business partnering approach, ensuring data quality, integrity and accessibility are paramount. As a natural storyteller, you will be able to simplify complex problems to explain data findings to the wider business.

Please note this opportunity offers home based working but will require occasional travel to our offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishing and promoting a business partnering model, supporting the team with implementation and delivery.


• Managing and overseeing a team of Analysts to establish prioritisation and projects, manage workloads, and ensuring delivery of work products based on priority, capability, and capacity.


• Leading on the creation of BI solutions (Dashboards, Analysis and Insight).


• Establishing and refining BI processes including robust controls and risk management in line with industry standards.


• Creating a data-driven culture amongst different departments to maintain a strong commercial focus.


• Forming excellent structure and order within large sets of data.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Demonstrable experience of successfully managing and leading cross-functional teams.


• Strong technical expertise in Power BI, data visualisation techniques, and report development.


• Previous experience of working within a regulated environment, ideally within financial or legal services.


• Excellent commercial knowledge to identify and translate findings across cross-functional teams.


• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and translate complex problems and concepts into simple terms for a variety of audiences.
