The Role:
SuperAwesome is looking for an experienced Head of Yield & Supply Operations to play a crucial role in optimizing programmatic integrations and maximising margins. This role involves leading a team focused on yield analysis, determining optimal bid prices, and supporting real-time bid adjustments. This person will leverage analytics to identify optimization opportunities, conduct experiments with buying strategies, and collaborate with Product Management for tool improvements. They also negotiate with supply sources, forecast inventory availability, and build relationships with SSPs, publishers, and other supply sources to secure quality inventory and uncover new business opportunities across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead team focused on day-to-day yield analysis, monitor performance and pursue proactive improvements across all integrations.
- Author and refine playbooks and other useful materials to scale your impact on the company’s margin, customer performance and delivery
- Determine optimal bid prices for different inventory to ensure maximum reach and efficiency. Support AdOps in adjusting bids in real-time based on campaign performance, audience targeting and market conditions
- Leverage advanced analytics, reporting tools and log data to analyze supply trends, and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization. Implement strategies to maximize win rates, eCPMs, and maintain healthy margins
- Conducting experiments to test different buying strategies to determine the most effective approaches
- Collaborate with Product Management on ideas for improving our tools and data for systemic improvements
- Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with supply sources to secure inventory at competitive rates while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with Adops, Market Strategy, and Sales to forecast inventory availability and anticipate fluctuations in supply and demand
- Use data to uncover new insights and business opportunities across mobile, CTV & social platforms.
- Develop and nurture relationships with SSPs, publishers, app developers, and other supply sources to secure quality inventory and maintain a healthy supply ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital advertising, yield management, or a related field
- Proficiency in data analysis and programmatic performance metrics interpretation, with the ability to communicate opportunities effectively
- Experience in direct collaboration between different companies within the advertising ecosystem
- Knowledge of ad-serving platforms, programmatic advertising, and digital media buying processes
- A great understanding of technology layers such as Pre-bid, Open Bidding, GAM, APS, CMP, video, and data
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
