Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Mechanic role located in Mintlaw at Aberdeenshire Council. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and handling heavy vehicles, light vehicles and plant equipment on a day-to-day basis.

We work a 9.25 hour day 4 days a week with a rolling day off. This giving a good work/ life balance.

Qualifications

• Maintenance & Repair, Troubleshooting, and Heavy Equipment skills
• Experience in maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Certification in relevant technical training programs or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to maintenance work
