High Yield Lawyer

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced high yield lawyer, who is seeking an alternative to private practice. You will move away from the transactional side of law becoming a subject matter expert in the high yield bonds space in an analytical way. This role will appeal to lawyers who enjoy the academic side of law more than they do the execution aspects, and who are also seeking a better work/life balance.

The core focus of the role will be analysing the covenants in high yield bond deals and related market events with a view to producing user-friendly reports for a wide range of clients.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing new European high yield bond offering memoranda
• Writing new issuance reports on high yield bonds
• Answering clients’ questions about live deals or older deals that have been covered in the past
