We have an exciting opportunity to join our Partner Product and Commercial Strategy team. W here your expertise will drive innovation and commercial success in our home insurance partnerships, based in London or Leeds with a hybrid working model, you’ll manage partner relationships, develop customer-centric products, and execute trading strategies to meet our financial and strategic goals. This role combines product development, commercial strategy, and regulatory insight, demanding strong stakeholder engagement, analytical skills, and a passion for enhancing customer experiences.
What you'll be doing:
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships across the partner business to ensure open, transparent and commercially successful partnerships, understanding the partner’s strategy to remain aligned and deliver against jointly agreed plans, while managing day to day interactions.
- Product Management: Identify and drive new product and proposition development opportunities in line with customer demand and both the brand and wider DLG strategies, supporting delivery of product reviews to ensure all regulatory and governance requirements are complete, and identifying customer problems and eradicating pain points across end to end experience.
- Trading Development: Be responsible for the implementation of trading initiatives on our Home partner brands, understanding our budget and applying appropriate commercial awareness by identifying opportunities or weaknesses in our current approach compared to those adopted by key competitors, while demonstrating thought ownership that delivers commercially viable incremental value.
- Commercial Value: Support and lead on financial aspects such as budgeting, planning and business case production, managing trade-offs between customer and commercial outcomes and strategies, with a deep understanding of trading and customer MI to initiate, develop and deploy initiatives to drive improvements in performance.
- Matrix Management: Participate in meetings with matrix managed stakeholders and external partners to articulate current performance trends, identify potential risks and suggest appropriate responses, while clearly communicating key components of tactical plans to gain agreement on actions and ensure they are delivered.
- Contract Management: Ensure that DLG adhere to all contractual requirements, including close monitoring of partner contractual, trading and operational metrics, challenging internally and externally where needed to deliver the joint business plan and meet contractual requirements, while ensuring a focus on delivering the right customer outcomes.
- Customer Voice: Actively seek out and brings the ‘voice of the customer’ into all squad activities ensuring customer outcomes are considered and customer best interests’ rules are adhered to when decisions are made.
- Reg Risk: Build deep understanding of regulatory landscape and identify implications on business models, products and processes, being aware of and complying with the rules and requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and any other legal/regulatory/risk management frameworks, keeping abreast of any changes.
